Medicision was founded by Dr. Joshua Chou and A/Prof. Steven Bernardi, to help people from around the globe access the world leading health care Australia and the world has to offer. The two first met while training Bujinkan, a martial art over a decade ago and still train together today. It was after Joshua returned from a scholarship in Harvard Medical School, that they met and explored the concept of a “truly” disruptive international apporach to healthcare. The platform would combine bio-medical engineering with healthcare expertise and a focus on an exceptional customer experience in niche areas.

A key differentiator being they would only partner with biotech, digital and healthcare leaders that could demonstrate a world leading approach and exceptional standards of healthcare. Bringing all these elements partners together would start something truly unique for the future of healthcare. Their combined backgrounds made Medisicion the ideal venture. Steven has worked in both public and private healthcare as an executive, and understands what innovative and quality healthcare is all about. Joshua is a world leading biotech scientist with an enviable list of research and academic achievements.

One of his areas of interest is the biomechanics of cancer cells. This has led him to be the first Australian researcher to be sending cancer cells in to the International Space Station, to study the effects of zero gravity on their ability to replicate. Combined, they share a passion for accessing the worlds best clinicians, treatments and cutting edge biotechnology.

Medicision aims to be a disruptor in healthcare by providing global citizens access to the best healthcare locally and globally, even if that in the future includes intergalactic treatment for travel.
